Since 2007 Comfort for Critters has provided free, handmade blankets to animal shelters across the US. While these pets await adoption, the blankets provide a comfortable bed year-round. When they are adopted, their blanket goes with them, providing something familiar as they adjust to their “forever family”. We now support over 400 shelters and have donated over 135,000 blankets!

Each of the "perfect patterns to pamper pets" has been developed by CFC's founder and used to create adorable blankets for animal shelter pets. The e-book covers the foundation of Comfort for Critters and the resources they provide to all volunteers. It also discusses animal sheltering in the US and the myriad of blessings these blankets provide to the shelters and even to the volunteers who make them. Of course 30 easy-to-do crochet patterns are included with clear photographs of the finished blankets.
